Midnite Solar MNBIGBABY
Midnite Solar's MNBABYBOX has been a huge
success in the solar industry for use in
small cottage, remote and RV
applications. However it was a little too small
for the UL and CSA folks. The
MNBIGBABY is the
solution...
The MNBIGBABY is a
slightly larger AC or DC breaker panel
that has taken the MNBABYBOX and improved it by
making each dimension slightly larger as well
as adding a ground lug and room for one
bus-bar. Like the MNBABYBOX, it is also
perfect for small inverters and other DC loads
such as lighting.
The MNBIGBABY is usually
used in small AC or DC systems or as an add on
to a large system.
The
MNBIGBABY accommodates
the same small din mount DC breakers
as Midnite Solar's MNDC, MNPV3,
MNPV6, MNPV12 and MNBABYBOX as well as
Outback Power Systems' PSPV, FWPV8 and FWPV12.
These breakers are called Midnite
Solar MNEPV or Outback Power System's
OBB-XX-150VDC-DIN DC breakers and are suitable
for DC inputs and outputs at up to 150 volts
DC.
The MNBIGBABY will
also work with the Midnite Solar MNEAC AC
breakers as well as any of the Outback
Power System's OBB-XX-120VAC-DIN or
OBB-XX-277VAC-DIN AC breakers.
It holds a total of four breakers and
includes one ground lug. Oddly enough,
with all of the breaker knockouts removed the
MNBIGBABY will hold three of
the MNTS fuse holders for systems that require
voltages higher than 150 volts DC.
