Midnite Solar's Classic 250 MPPT Charge Controller
Finally the Classic has arrived. This is "the" MPPT Charge Controller!!!
Period.
The Classic MPPT Charge Controller will soon stand the renewable energy industry
on it’s ear. The Classic will substantially increase the flexibility, features and range currently
found on MPPT controllers. The Classic is the only MPPT controller that has Arc Fault Detection,
making this controller the safest controller available in the world. The "Classic 250" can handle
up to 74 amps making it one of the most powerful MPPT charge controllers ever! It is also 100% made
in the USA. The Classic will charge any battery bank from 12 to 72 volts with a solar input voltage
of up to 254 volts.
The way to calculate the maximum voltage the controller can accept from
the solar module(s) is a little different. You add the operating battery voltage to 250 volts*. For
example:
12 volt battery bank 13.5 volts plus 250 = 263 volts max input voltage (VOC)
24 volt battery bank 27.0 volts plus 250 = 277 volts max input voltage (VOC)
48 volt battery bank 54.0 volts plus 250 = 304 volts max input voltage (VOC)
*If your battery bank is higher than 48 volts the Classic can handle up to 304 volts DC in from
your solar array.
There is nothing else that even begins to compare with the
"Classic".
Some of the cool features of the Classic 250 MPPT
are: (these are just the features that only the Classic has. The Classic does
everything all other MPPT controllers can do plus the following)
